GOLF COACH

Simon was born in Suffolk, England.

He began his PGA training in 2007 at the National Training Academy located at the Belfry, in partnership with the University of Birmingham.

He completed his studies in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Golf Studies from the University of Birmingham. The curriculum covered topics such as coaching, engaging young golfers, biomechanics, sports psychology, golf fitness (TPI), club fitting and repairs, and business management in retail.

Simon participated in more than 30 professional tournaments while training as an Assistant Professional, consistently maintaining a handicap of 0.0 across more than 90 rounds.

He secured a spot on the Asian Development Tour for 2015 by successfully completing the Asian Tour Qualifying School at Springfield Country Club in Hua Hin, Thailand.

After joining Champions Golf in November 2015:

• He initiated the Junior Golf Passport program (juniorgolfpassport.org), growing participation to over 60 children with the aim to establish Champions Golf as a central venue for junior golf in Singapore.
• He implemented an online system for booking and payments for all classes, both individual and group (championsgolfacademy.coachseek.com).
• He developed a Loyalty Rewards Program, offering discounts without the need for traditional 5 or 10-hour lesson packages.
• He collaborated with Hudl Technique to provide enhanced feedback to customers during and after lessons at no additional charge.
